For a mission to support local products and artistry. The daugther of Dimples Romana, callie ahmee, launched her own brand called cal the brand which are locally made bags.
Her passsion for fashion made it possible to put up a business at a very young age. Using her own savings from seeing old projects such as tv commercials. Callie decided to put up the brand to tell the world about the beauty of locally made products. She designed her first collection with handwoven bags with the help of a community in laguna which she partnered with. It is a company that produces bag that is especially made by their weavers manually which made her a lot more interested.
The products of cal the brand are specially made from a natural premium rattan bags. She wanted her first collection to perfectly fit for any occasions and at the same time will look very sleek and sophisticated.
